Project for BACK-UP of GMDSS
The NEW 500 KHZ NETWORK will be installed on board of over 2000 gross T cargo and tanker ships and every cruse ship.
HOW TO GET THE GOAL :
1- One Radio-electronic Officer has to be mandatory on board in every ship required with CW knowledgement. The Radio-electronic Officer fonctions are : - Manage the NEW 500KHZ NETWORK on board. - Repair all radio, éléctronics equipments, software and hardware computers, GMDSS equipments on board. - Keep secure equipments of NEW 500 KHZ NETWORK on board.
2- Set-up the NEW 500 KHZ NETWORK with land radio-stations connected with GMDSS net and AMATEUR-RADIO net.
3 - The mode of transmission will be CW and PACTOR for the NEW 500KHZ NETWORK.
4 - A lot of emergency exercices will be conducted on board and in land radio-stations.
